Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy Expands Services To The Pharmaceutical Industry - Taps MikeLynn Salthouse,RN as Vice President of Business Development

Swartz Creek, Mich., September 23, 2008 – Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy today announced that MikeLynn Salthouse has joined the company’s executive management team. Salthouse will serve as Vice President of Business Development for the company. She reports directly to Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy’s President and CEO, Philip Hagerman.

“The addition of MikeLynn offers Diplomat the expertise we need to further expand our services within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry,” said Hagerman. “Her focus will be on the continued development of our patient assistance and clinical trial distribution programs as well as areas of: Study Drug Supply, Pipeline Development and Hub Management. MikeLynn’s knowledge and extensive background as an executive in specialty pharmacy will benefit our clients and our patients as Diplomat continues our national leadership in the specialty pharmacy industry.”

MikeLynn Salthouse, RN has been working in the healthcare industry for 25 years; 12 of those most recently in Specialty Pharmacy. Her tenure includes 8 years in executive positions with Stadtlanders and CVS/ProCare where she served as VP of HIV sales and VP, Business Development. While at Allion Healthcare, MikeLynn was VP, HIV Sales for MOMS Pharmacy and Executive VP for the company’s Oris Medical Systems. During her 4 years at Allion, the company issued an IPO, increased revenue from $25 million to $200 million and successfully launched MOMS Pharmacy in Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego and Seattle. Salthouse attended Loma Linda University.
