18 August 08

Swartz Creek, Mich.,(Corporate Offices) August 18, 2008 – Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy announced today that they have entered into a corporate agreement with NeedyMeds.com, an online data base listings of available financial assistance programs for patients requiring support with drug access.

“The mission of Diplomat’s dedicated funding department is to uncover funds that are available nationally to offset high co-payments especially when patients fall into their Medicare Part D Donut Hole,” stated Mark Neville, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Diplomat. “Diplomat’s current patient centric approach is synergistic to NeedyMeds.com and their ability to triage patients and healthcare professionals to drug specific resources. Once patients are approved for co-payment funds, Diplomat will dispense and coordinate shipment of the needed medication to the patients for no additional charge.”

“We are excited in partnering with Diplomat to help more patients gain access to their required drugs”, stated Rich Sagall, MD, President of NeedyMeds.com. “Diplomat will work with specific Manufacturer drug programs and outside co-payment assistance programs to improve over all drug access.”
